Parents Fund
Each year, the University appeals to all members of its family to support the Appalachian Fund. Contributions from current and past Parents make up an integral part of the Appalachian Fund. It allows each of us to support learning opportunities for our children that are not funded by tuition alone. As members, we have the unique opportunity to direct these gifts toward special initiatives and programs that support our students. Please note some of our most recent accomplishments below.
Parents Fund Contributions
Acquisition of a Reading Room in the Carol Grotnes Belk Library
Sponsorship of the Walk for Awareness and Take Back the Night programs which educates individuals about sexual assault and safety on campus
Software to assist in the tutoring students
Provide copies of the “Appalachian Today” Magazine for all current parents
